Outer Heaven
Shhh, what's that? Is there someone hiding in the bushes? Wait, there's a cardboard box moving by itself. Suspicious... Actually it's the most suspicious thing I ever saw in my life! Hey, should we shoot it? -Nah, it's probably just a raccoon anyways. *Solid Snake reaches enemy base entrance. Mission Successful!

A new game on Abandonia. This time it's the DOS port of Hideo Kojima's MSX stealth game, Metal Gear, a title that gave birth to an immense universe which lives on even today, with a scheduled release for Metal Gear Solid: Rising in the future, for currentgen platforms including the PC. The current generation of games are titled Metal Gear Solid, but there are also several spinoffs on PSP called Metal Gear Ac!d, and who knows, they might even make a Metal Gear Strawberry.

Howdy pardner!
Why don't you mosey on over here and let me tell you about the wonderful extras update we have for you today. The baddest gunslinger in the west, Luchsen has provided us with the design document for one of my personal favourites - Al Lowe's Freddy Pharkas Frontier Pharmacist.

This 1993 adventure game has it all - cowboys, pretty school ma'ams, strange Ghandi-esque ant lovers, missing body parts and of course, the titular hero, Freddy Pharkas. This game is full the humour that made Al Lowe famous (he is the creator of Leisure Suit Larry after all!) And luckily for you, it is available right here at the ranch, Abandonia.

But the stars are where the real action happens! Today, one of our very own lovely admins, Dave has provided us with the level codes for the 1993 sci-fi shooter - Alien Breed.

Unfortunately this game isn't available for download as it is still under ESA protection. However, we have a veritable constellation of similarly themed games which are available for your retro pleasure, so why not click on through and see what takes your fancy!

A 1/10 Second Victory
You want to be number one on the circuit, number one in the standings. I can feel it in your eyes! But there's something more important than that: the speed, the adrenaline rushing when you pass an opponent, the gamble when challenging a curve... It's all in this great racing simulation from Papyrus - IndyCar Racing.

Heady takes the spotlight now for his awesome review. He wanted to showcase this game in the best way possible, and so he added a full set of boxshots as well.

Sometime ago I reviewed the DOS version of this game. Behold the 3.X remake of Uninvited. You're going to die!

Don't cheat on me, you stinky goblin!
Puzzle games can be fun, until you are stuck. Today we give you a remedy for that situation to a game called Gobliiins. It's not a complete solution, but a set of codes to each stage of the game.
