Dear Abandonia visitors: Help us keep Abandonia free with a small donation. Abandonia is like an old gaming arcade with only original games. Abandonia helps you have fun four hours and years. If Abandonia is useful to you, please help us forget fundraising and get back to Abandonia.

When Abandonia was founded it was to collect and present all old games where the copyright protection had been abandoned, hence the term ’abandonware’ and the site name Abandonia.com. We are still keeping the site open and free and will appreciate your support to help it stay that way.

‐ Thank you from the Abandonia Team

We are trying to make it easy for people in every country to donate. Please let us know how we could make it easier for you.

Please give whatever you can to help us.

Early alert
One plane was closing in on our base. You could already hear the engines. It was early morning and we were trying to spot it in the pink sky, our AAGs ready. Only one plane... that guy surely knew better than to attack the entire base alone.

Soon, we could see it clearly through our cross-hairs. The command was to hold our fire. It was clear that he wasn't going to attack, since he was flying straight towards the runaway. But this guy wasn't thinking of landing, keeping the same speed and altitude. He dropped something on the runway and took a slow turn to fly away. As he was slowly joining the morning Sun, somebody run to the runway and came back with a package. Inside were some boxshots of Dawn Patrol.

That was surely their ace Ermuli, nobody else would have a nerve to do this.

King's Quest III - REDUX
Some of you may already be familiar with the awesome work that the talented people over at indie studio AGD Interactive have been doing over the last few years. Well, their new release is no different! On the 24th of February AGD Interactive released King's Quest III Redux - The story is the same but they have made some wonderful SVGA graphics, interface and music updates.

But enough from me, why don't you wander over there and download the wonderfully meaty file (about 250 MB) and check it out for yourself! And that is not all, while you're there, why not take a look at some of their other wonderful releases, such as the updated versions of King's Quest I and II, and Quest For Glory 2, which fixed many niggling bugs and playability issues (horrible alley-way navigation system I'm looking at you!)

Hot chicks sell poor products

It's been like that since the beginning of time. Otherwise, what's marriage? Just kidding. You may know a movie titled Cool World, and this game is officially licensed from it. Thanks to marko river and Ohne Mitleid we can all enjoy it. Too bad our reviewer thinks it's not so terrific. But you may want to try and form your own opinion, you may like it, or maybe you'll be sold by that blonde there.

The future from the past
Space 1889 is a game based on the ideas of the future from people in the past, to be exact people from the Victorian era. Based on a Pencil and Paper RPG this game allows the player to see into a much different future then the one we are in today. Complex controls do hamper the gameplay but everything else is top notch, a great game for fans of good classic RPGs.

Thanks to Japo for the archive, Wereboar for the review, screenshots and Manual and Geezer for an advert for the game. Let's get out there and play the game people.

CURSES! *shakes fist*
We're currently experiencing some technical difficulties and our FTP server is down. This means that for the moment you can't download games or extras from the main site. We are very sorry for any inconvenience this is causing you, and we promise to have things back up and running very soon!

Don't forget that if you are a registered user you can still access games via the ISO Cellar in our forums. So if you haven't become a registered Abandonian there's no time like the present :)

From an Island filled with the dead,
Guarded by fierce creatures and with much loss of lives Ermuli brings us the lost treasures that were hidden away on this Isle of the Dead. Nothing less then pictures of the games box and pictures of the floppy disks the game was spread on, returned to us at last. Our thanks go out to this hero and all he lost in bringing us these great gifts, go and look upon them to honor him.

Centaur's quest
Play as mighty centaur on your quest to recover golden coins of your master. The road leads you to Olympus where mythical creatures and gods dwell. Are you up to the task?

Despite the great idea, Mythos has some serious flaws that may ruin the gameplay. Check it out.

Deep from within a dangerous dungeon, guarded by monsters of lore Ermuli dragged out a few precious images. All of them come from the CD version of Hero Quest, including an image of the CD itself.
