Dear Abandonia visitors: Help us keep Abandonia free with a small donation. Abandonia is like an old gaming arcade with only original games. Abandonia helps you have fun four hours and years. If Abandonia is useful to you, please help us forget fundraising and get back to Abandonia.

When Abandonia was founded it was to collect and present all old games where the copyright protection had been abandoned, hence the term ’abandonware’ and the site name Abandonia.com. We are still keeping the site open and free and will appreciate your support to help it stay that way.

‐ Thank you from the Abandonia Team

We are trying to make it easy for people in every country to donate. Please let us know how we could make it easier for you.

And the beat goes on...

Let us show you some great tunes from Frederik Pohl's Gateway, by our all time favourite interactive fiction writers Legend Entertainment.

And as always, be sure to check out the game as well if you've never heard about it before!

Have fun!

Help for the lost is here!
Have you ever played Veil of Darkness and been lost? Couldn't find the important items? Missed out on some of the weapons perhaps? If any of these is true for you then do we have the extra for you today. Thanks to the mighty Paco we have the entire game mapped out and every item and secret door marked. Even if you have beaten the game give the maps a download and have a look and see if you missed something.

The weekly poll, has it been a week already?
So the last poll has closed and we have a tie! People just could not decide between Ultima Underworld 1,2 and Eye of the Beholder 1,2,3 so they both win the best First Person RPG on our site. And now it is time for the new poll, this time handed to us by Tracker.

Which one of the games listed would you most like to see as a movie? With the promise that the movie would actually stick to source material and be good mind you. Remember click on the title to get linked right to the poll and have a browse of the rest of our forums while you are there. If you aren't a member sign up now and don't let this poll pass you by.

Scummtastic!
Don't forgot that our heroes over at ScummVM released a new version not too long ago. ScummVM 1.4.1 is a maintenance release so look forward to having some of those niggling little bugs addressed and fixed with this version. Whether you're new or old to this wonderful emulation program there's no time like the present to click through and grab the latest version. Enjoy!

Missing for a week but back again it is weekly poll time!
The last polls winner was....Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis! More of you wanted to see that as a movie then any of the other games.

Now it is time for some more thinking about games, which game do you love that is so buggy that you now wonder how you played it? Remember if your game isn't in the list throw a post up and throw one up just telling us which is your favourite anyway. If you aren't a member make sure to sign up for the site so you can vote on the poll and let us know what you think. Click the title to get taken to the right thread and have a look around our forums after. A big thanks to Lulu_Jane for this weeks poll idea.

The poll rolls on around again!
It is time for the new poll again, but our last poll still has a few hours left before it closes, if you haven't voted on it this is your last chance! So far it is a close race but Fallout 2 is winning as the game people wondered how they ever played it due to the bugs.

But that is last week, and this is a new poll from RRS What is your favourite game setting? Do you prefer games set in the far future, or the distant past or in some more fantasy world? Let us know, click the title and vote away.
