Dear Abandonia visitors: Help us keep Abandonia free with a small donation. Abandonia is like an old gaming arcade with only original games. Abandonia helps you have fun four hours and years. If Abandonia is useful to you, please help us forget fundraising and get back to Abandonia.

When Abandonia was founded it was to collect and present all old games where the copyright protection had been abandoned, hence the term ’abandonware’ and the site name Abandonia.com. We are still keeping the site open and free and will appreciate your support to help it stay that way.

‐ Thank you from the Abandonia Team

We are trying to make it easy for people in every country to donate. Please let us know how we could make it easier for you.

Panzer General
This is the last game for this evening. It's a Strategy game by the name of Panzer General. Thanks goes to Razor2 for this fun game. Gotta love a game with tanks and planes... and explosions! :p

Softporn Adventure
No. I did not place Leisure Suit Larry 7 - Love for Sail on the site... How-ever! Larry is somehow connected to todays game. Without this game Larry would never have been born! (That is why is so happy in the news-pic). Al Lowe got the idea for Larry after playing through this game. If you have played Larry 1, you'll recognize the story. The name of the game? Softporn Adventure of course. It was originally made in 1981 for Apple II, but was re-released for pc 10 years later. Go check it out. It hangs out with the rest of the text-based games. The_Egat supplied the archive, while Red Diablo wrote the most hillarious review to this day! Nice going ;)

SEAL Team
Marko River always takes us by surprise with his contributions. This time he did it with SEAL Team, a game I never heard of, and its a real shame because it seems quite interesting after I've read the review! I suggest you do the same!

We've set a new record here! This time it has nothing to do with games, but all with the visitors of this site! Yesterday we passed the 16.000 visitors a day! We are definetly getting there, in the meantime, invite all your friends ;)

A message from the front made by Tom-Henrik: " I am really PISSED OFF because someone stole my laptop! All the people who sent me their reviews must send them to Kosta or upload them to the server. Also I can't supply any of the games I promised." Let's all hope the laptop will be found again.

Curse of Enchantia
Enough of Tom's annoying thumb sillyness, time for some games! First up is Curse of Enchantia, with a controversial review & mark by Stroggy. Try it and give us your own judgement! North & South are on the way ;)

North & South
Since Tom's brain went offline today as he left the laptop out in the open while taking a leak, I had to jump in and make the double update. Thankfully, I had something in store too, and with help of Stroggy and Dream, I managed to pull it off. Let's hope Tom's brain boots up soon, at least in safe mode, so he can start helping out yet again ;) The second game for today is North & South. I'm sure you all remember this classic! Be sure to read the note at the end of the review! Enjoy!

Alter Ego (Man and Woman)
Lately we have been adding a lot of big, new and even some Windows games, so it is time to go back to the roots. That is why today I have decided to place two games that predate 1990. First one is Alter Ego, a one of a kind game where you get to choose a virtual life path and make various decisions without being affraid how they might influence your real life. Its interesting to develop your brand new persona this way so I suggest you give it a go! This package includes both Alter Ego Man and Alter Ego Woman!

Sword of the Samurai
And the second update, as promised just a few minutes ago. This one dates back to 1989., and is just as magnificent. There are plenty of screenshots and a very thorough review written for it by Kon Tiki so you'll find everything you need to know on the game page itself. I'm talking about Sword of the Samurai, a very rare game that simply shines with brilliance.

Arkanoid
I've just read that Underdogs have been keeping an average of over 2 daily updates for almost 6 years. That is a result we're aspiring to here. So far we have managed to keep a weekly 2 games per day policy, not a bad start ;) First game for today is another true legend - Arkanoid! Wormpaul wasn't shy with words while reviewing it, so we probably have the biggest arkanoid review on the internet :P Check it out!

Descent
This one you probably all know, and have been waiting for. A legendary 3D action that left no one indifferent - Descent! True 3D environment, fast and engaging gameplay, vicious enemies and destructive weapons. Yeah, all the ingrediends needed for creating an awesome action game, which Descent certainly is! Marko River has, yet again, supplied us with a beautiful review for this gem.

Campaign
Today I will be adding 2 strategy games, both provided by Fenris. First one is Campaign, which may not have flashy graphics, but makes up for it with excellent gameplay. The review is descriptive and to the point, so it will debrief you with all the details you need to know!

Battle Isle (with Data Disk 1 addon)
Second strategy game for today is a very praised one, and we've even been kind enough to include an addon for it. I'm talking about Battle Isle and the Data Disk 1 expansion with new scenery and missions. Enough chatter for today, I've done my part, now you can do yours by downloading and commenting in the forum! See you tomorrow!

B.A.T.
Today we have two games submitted by Sebatianos on our repertoire. The first one is a somewhat weird cyberpunk, sci-fi mixture of RPG and adventure. It might look complicated on the first glance, but the walkthrough / manual we supplied should get you started just fine.

Detroit
Time for a simulation for all you car enthusiasts out there - Detroit. I've been waiting for this one to become available on Abandonia for a long time, but never wrote a review since I wasn't able to figure it out myself. Sebatianos took care of that and wrote a great review for it. This game requires patience, thinking and lots of micromanagement, so don't rush with it!
