Unknown Contributors
While going through every single addition to the site, I have compiled a 74 pages long list of contributors. However, some things are still a bit iffy (as somehow, the generous supplier has not been credited for his/hers work).
As such, I would be very pleased if you could all look over these additions, and tell me if you see something that you have supplied to the site. This is going to be a part of the new system we are going to use, and each contributor will have a personalized page with every single thing they have helped us with. So without further hesitation, I bring you the unknown list: Game Archives: Box Scans: |
I think I found the Cadaver game guide on some site in plain text and 'transformed' it into a Word-doc since it was very hard to read in the old form.
|
Thanks, I have made the appropriate changes, and also fixed some things that Romano PMed me about. :ok:
|
I supplied default key bindings for Populous along with the review. Not that it's important, but since you asked...

Edit: Updated the list with Romano's info. |
I see quite a few of my contribution in the Music-area.
When we started the section, I filled it with quite a few different things. Can't realy remember extactly WHAT, but i might have the uploads in one of the backups of the drive.. i'll take a look. |
Music: Space Hulk, Warcraft 2 and Battletech - Crescent Hawks Revenge
Have been uploaded by me. Might be responsible for some of the extras, but don't have the time or patience to check. |
I know that SupSuper suplied a lot of music. Maybe to PM him !?

That reminds me, I gotta go on another music-submitting spree one of these days... :D Also, is my boxart ever gonna make it onto the site? :bleh: |
I've checked the archive with Ishar II manual. That's the one I uploaded a while back.
|
Updated the list accordingly :ok:
|
*Bump*
No-one else? Does that mean I can just credit myself with all the rest additions? :w00t: :bleh: |
I'll give you ten bucks to put my name on a couple :ok:
|
I think the name of the contributor of the uncensor patch for Princess Maker 2 should be floating around in its respective thread.
The crack note for Flashback came from me along with the current archive, that I'm sure of. Not certain about the solution for this game, though. It might have been uploaded by me (it's certainly the same file I've got in my database), but I'm not 100% sure. |
If there are any Unknown contributors, I think you should put under "Unknown Hero" until you find out who they really are! :bleh:

Hmm. Maybe I wasn't too persistent. I still have the requested TXT here. EDIT: Wow. This is actually the first time that uploading something worked for me... |

psssssst |
When I look at my profile page, it doesn't look like I was given credit for uploading a walkthrough for Transarctica. Also, I believe I did a couple of company biographies, but I'm not sure if it's the policy of AB to give credit for those.
|
D you remember other?
How many company biographies you submitted? |
I honestly don't remember, it's a long time ago. I know I did the SSI one, though. Also, I think a couple of the ones I wrote were lost, since a long time passed between when I wrote them and when they put on the site, and in the meantime the guy originally in charge of the project dissappeared.
It's not a big deal, though, I just thought I'd mention it, since this topic was here anyway. :) |
Ok, added Transarctica as contribution and fixed your avatar :)
Will recalculate your Pieces of Eight adding 3 companies, there is a bug that delete them when you edit the profile  |
Something was wrong with my avatar?
How many pieces of eight do people usually get for writing reviews and stuff? I believe I have 3 pieces of eight, but I did all my contributions well before that system was implemented. |
Your avatar wasn't displayed on forum, you get from 100 to 150 for reviews.
You have 1015 PoEs now :) |
Oh, ok. Thanks for the help, then. :)
|
Agent USA is surely reviewed by Sebatianos, so it is uploaded either by him or Romano...
|
Ok, I'm working on the list, Romano created this profile for anonymous contributions:
http://www.abandonia.com/en/user/37340 We will add to that profile the material without a "father". |

EGA or VGA? I did maps and walkthroughs for EGA. :max: |
That list was made by Tom Henrik and so a bit outdated, I'm editing it.
I'll check :) Edit: that was added to your profile already, will delete from the list. :) |
Thankies :)
|
We can't touch credit for translations (because of bugs), can we?
|
Right.
|
http://www.abandonia.com/en/games/95...se+Soccer.html was uploaded by me. I have also added some boxshots to the ftp today.
|
Ok deleted from the list, Paco was faster than me ;)

Just saw this post so I figured I should submit a couple of corrections. I uploaded the manuals for Ultima Underworld II as well as Wasteland (part of the missing manual thread from way back.) :)
|
They are credited to Fawfulhasfury and Allen. Are you sure that the available files are still yours?
|
Yes. I just downloaded the files yesterday to check. They were scanned from a compilation from Interplay, a very large manual that included quite a few games. They were quite difficult to scan in a readable way. :)
Don't know how to reference a specific forum post, but I was post 54 for the Abandonia Games Without a Manual, The List. |

Yeah, I read that post and because it was so old I thought that the files perhaps went missing over the time and that the credited guys had contributed their versions. I will fix it (and that now - so, I won't post a confirmation :D).
|
Thanks Paco for the link. Thanks Luschen for the fix. :)
|
