Why again is the Pally worthless? The full plate armor has a max DEX modifier of 1, so it only loses 1 AC. Perfectly usable still. If anything I'd be worried about low CON so not that many HP. And Luck of Heroes gives that +1 AC it lost with 10 DEX. The 14 WIS ensures it can use all 4 levels of Pally spells, and 18 CHA gives +4 universal saves, which is pretty nifty as well. And the pally is immune to diseases, can turn, smite, lay on hands and cure diseases. And if push comes to shove, the druid can barkskin them and be done with it.

Also the Paladin like all characters uses Strength on to hit rolls. So it is hardly useless at all, Dex has nothing to do with him as a brute force melee character in any way at all.

PS: The worst spell with which hit me Poquelin is some fire column from the sky. Maybe I have to use anti fire spells or alike.

I really have just one tip for you in IWD2... read the description of everything: feats, spells, equipment and you'll get the hand of it much easier
And remember, only EVEN stats give bonuses: So have 17 STR equals having 16 STR (a +3 modifier) but having 18 equals a +4 modifier.

Now I met the first problem in IWD 2 and beg for help.
I have to find Mandal's sword in Dragon's Eye but I was unable to open the special door.
Enclosed You may see the location.
My characters are
leader Paladin
Illusionist,
Wizard 2 pcs,
Rogue 2 pcs.

I have no Thief and I am no able to disarm this trap.
My Rogue (the last in row) drinks the bottle of Improved Thievery but still does not find the little green trap.
Rat!!

Any good help is welcomed.

Greetings from more warm and sunny Asenovgrad in central Bulgaria (ah, little bit small than Germany).
We started pickering at 26 september and finished after 7 days. Then we separate the grape grains from the bunch and put them in the kegs. More 2 days. That's all.
My wine is Merlot with max. sugar of 25-26. Your?
Be kind and inform me of the grape price per kilo, bitte? Mine was 30 eurocents per kilo. Production? 5 tons from 5 decars.

Rogues don't automatically find traps now, as it's not a percentage skill anymore. You need to put points in the search skill to find the traps, and disable device to disarm them. With 0 points in disable device you can't do anything with traps.
