Dear Abandonia visitors: Help us keep Abandonia free with a small donation. Abandonia is like an old gaming arcade with only original games. Abandonia helps you have fun four hours and years. If Abandonia is useful to you, please help us forget fundraising and get back to Abandonia.

When Abandonia was founded it was to collect and present all old games where the copyright protection had been abandoned, hence the term ’abandonware’ and the site name Abandonia.com. We are still keeping the site open and free and will appreciate your support to help it stay that way.

‐ Thank you from the Abandonia Team

We are trying to make it easy for people in every country to donate. Please let us know how we could make it easier for you.

Please give whatever you can to help us.

Abandonware

Blockout

In 1989, the puzzle game Tetris was very successfully put into the third dimension by the P.Z.K. Development Group. In Blockout, you play with a view of a three-dimensional shaft in which you have to build up your stack. The game's concept is pretty simple and the gameplay relatively easy to learn.

Blades of Steel

Blades of Steel was the first computerized hockey game I ever played. It was on C64. I have to tell you right away though, that this game was ported for C64 two years after it was released for the PC (that didn’t happen very often that a PC game would be ported to C64, it was usually the other way around).

Black Hole

This is a very simple, yet quite challenging puzzle game. It’s all about not loosing your marbles.

Beverly Hills Cop

Oh no, it’s the Crazy Frog mania! Let’s shoot the frog. Actually it’s the original Harold Faltermeyer’s tune Axel F. And all who know which song I’m talking about will surely remember the great movie it was made for - Beverly Hills Cop, the movie that make Eddie Murphy the famous actor he is today.

Bicycle Holiday

Just in time for the upcoming holiday season, Abandonia is proud, or at least ambivalent, about presenting the Bicycle Holiday Collection of well-known card games. This collection includes four card games: Bridge, Cribbage, Poker and, of course, the ubiquitous Solitaire.

Jones in the Fast Lane

Jones in the Fast Lane is very fresh in concept. It can be called a life simulation game with a lot of strategic influence, but I decided to put it under adventure since planning your everyday life out is a pretty adventureous task ;)

Assault Trooper

There aren't many action games in which using your brain is more important than squeezing that trigger finger. However, as a lone commando performing stealth operations deep in enemy territory, moving around without being detected becomes essential for survival.

Armor Alley

This game is a blend of side-scroller and strategy, which is not a very frequent mix of genres. Armor Alley was originally released in 1984 under the name Rescue Rangers. It features two bases, one of which is your enemies, and which you need to destroy. There's not much story besides that, but it's more than enough for fun.

Arcade Volleyball

If women live longer than men because God returns them the time they spent on parking their vehicles, then I could live at least another 100 years by the same criteria. However, not because of parking, but because of the time I spent on playing this game.
