Xenocide is an interesting combination of 3D first person shooter, 2D platforming and also 3rd person top-down gameplay.  While the game is not groundbreaking in any one of the styles of gameplay it uses, it is the combination that makes the game interesting and keeps the player on their toes.

Introduction

Xenon is an overhead shooter which was initially developed and released for Amiga platform and was later converted to other platforms, including DOS.

A simple and addictive game, that’s the winning formula that was used with so many classics, and this (although not really well known) would really fall into this category.

Epic Games' Zone 66 takes place in the future after the United Nations' decision that the world would be better off if it wasn't so nationalist.

Scrabble is one of those board games that has a few decades long tradition of being played. It is in my opinion also one of the examples of an educational board games, since it does improve on your vocabulary and in the case of the English game also spelling.

"What’s all the ruckus about?" It’s about Ruckus Poker! Okay, well maybe not. Ruckus Poker is an interesting little poker game, just for the selection of computer players. It reminds me of Sierra’s Hoyle series of card games. From the graphics it looks like this was a predecessor or they just didn’t have the same art budget.

The truth is that I actually grew up with this game, since it was made in 1992, the year I was born. I liked the game back then, and the spark is still alive nowadays. Now, on to the review!

Yes, it´s a boardgame. And yes, it is one of the most meaningful boardgames you´ll ever come across, along with chess, and, well ... chess. This is no wonder, however, as it was created by Scandinavians over 1500 years ago.

Basics of Hnefa-tafl (required for playing)

The first time I ever played a game like this was when I played The 7th Guest (but that was more of a square-a-gon – you played in an square).

Story:
You’re a director, who is under contract of US Gold and is trying to make a blockbuster movie featuring famous Charlie Chaplin.

First you need to read through the script and sign the contract (you move through the booklet with arrows). Then you need to direct scenes (it doesn’t matter in which order the scenes are shot). While shooting you get to control Charlie. Arrows (preferably numeric keys) move him around and ‘5’ fires.
