There is indeed a PC version, and it's downloadable right here on this site ..... It's DOS, so under Vista: run it dosbox. [Edit] And before you ask how to do that: >A beginner's guide to DosBox< >wtf IS dos bOX AND DOES IT WORK ON wIN xp?< [Edit²] Oh yeah, again before you ask: run with sc in dosbox. [Edit³] And the game is cracked, simply enter when asked for copy protection code. [Edit*] Some peeps have all the luck, simply drag sc.bat and drop it on dosbox.exe or so, the game runs fine that way. If your mouse won't work, hit CTRL+F10 and click again in dosbox window, should work then.

![]() You'll also have to run DOSBox at fairly low cycles, otherwise you won't be able to fire the guns.

![]() -BUMP-
I played this game years ago on the Amiga, loved it. Now I've downloaded the PC version from Abandonia and can run it no probs via DOSBox, but the sounds crap, not like it was on the Amiga. By this I mean the Amiga had proper explosions and suchlike, but the PC version only has beeps...is there any way to change the sound settings? I'm running DOSBox 0.72 and Vista. Please advise... |

![]() Hey, I'm new here. But I've been hunting this game down for over a few years.
I liked the game when I was young, and wanted to see if I could find it. Today, I did. I downloaded and it runs superb. Except, there's no sound. Is there a way I can fix that? |

![]() For almost anything that ran in DOS, really.
Altough I don't recommend trying to run Quake in it without some serious CPU power (note that multi-core doesn't offer much improvement - none beyond dual core - and x64 none whatsoever). |
