![]() 1. The Treasure Fleet and Silver Train move. Be happy if you find them accidentally in a town you're attacking and get more money, but it's not worth hunting after them.

![]() The newer version is a ton of fun, even the ballroom dancing, which is arguably the most irritating part of the game. I remember sitting on my dad's knee when I was little watching him play the original -- I think I might have to go try it out!

However, I can't deny that it was a really, really fun game. Classic. |

![]() We (me and my hero) got quests for 5 bandits, who had information about our sister. We defeated only 2 bandits and then recognized this place and rescued our sister. Should we search for 3 remaining bandits anyway? I guess we have more than one lost sister because of blank spots on Inca treasute map.
What key is used for exit the game? I use Alt+Esc and sometimes an error message appears. Use dosbox 0.63. Win XP SP2. Duels are really annoying. It’s awful when you fight for 5 minutes and finally lose. Sometimes I even swear loudly |

![]() Dosbox 0.63 has been outdated for three years. Use 0.72.

This way you'll get a part of a new treasure map instead. |

![]() The Fifth Horseman, Pirates! runs correctly only in dosbox 0.63. I’ve solved error message problem. Just deleted one dosbox version, I had two.

![]() Greetings
I am running a version of Pirates (432.03) that appear to work fine in later versions of DOSBox (including 0.72), but when run in Tandy mode with what appears to be a proper configuration, I get an all black sea, excepting for the occasional waves. ![]() This is a bit sad. Anybody experienced this and found a way around it? I really want to enjoy those C64-like tunes in the gorgeous PC version ;) I tried the version hosted on Abandonia, with DOSBox 0.63 (as it crashes in 0.72, as it was reported a number of times here), but I experienced the same issue, plus some wacky colors during fights. Any help really appreciated. |

![]() Are you sure this version is supposed to be Tandy-compatible to begin with?
