Man is an abstract person in this case. You could also take it as mensch, a person of integrity and honour, but I don't see why one qualifies as mensch when he climbs through a manhole. Anyway, you are not alone,

I wonder if anthropon in the common greek (Koine, that is) means "men" or "humanity"? If so, the New Testament should be retranslated in some places, methinks... :P Although half the time they say "if a man...". I assume that is an individual example, in which case it could be anyone   end of offtopicness! ^^

I had this game many, many years ago as a Game & Watch (I'm showing my age here
 ).It got so exciting when lots of people came at once, and you had to franticly move the womanhole cover. You'd think these silly people would learn to *avoid* holes, and not walk over them. LOL Those were the days!
