Think about Aussie rules football, add weapons, remove the referees and you've got this game!
There's blood flowing, swords swishing and bombs being thrown. Not exactly a family game...
On the pitch there are two teams, each simply trying to get the ball into the other's goal.
To stop the opposition from doing that there's tackles, swords, shields, bombs, rabbits (!) etc.
The controls are very simple: one button to change player (or slayer) and one to have him do something, like throw the ball or tackle.
It's easy to get started, just configure your joystick and choose "League", "Unfriendly" or "Knockout". If you don't have a joystick, you can use the keyboard as well (you'll even see the default keys at the start).
Pick a team and a level of difficulty, and you'll be instantly thrown into action on the pitch.
This is good, as it doesn't take more than a few seconds to get started, but you might also say that this is the game's downside, because it doesn't get any more advanced than this.
Music and graphics are on par with most sports games in 1993, without ever really impressing.
As you can see from the short review, there aren't that many aspects of the game to write about.
It's fun for a while, but won't last you a whole evening.
