Another World was one of those games that made you go "wooow" with your mouth wide open. The intro and cutscenes were amazing for the time it was made. Digital PC speaker sound, excellent quality polygon graphics and fluid animation are only some of the distinctive features of this game.
You play the role of a young physicist who is conducting some kind of particle test. In the middle of the experiment, lightning strikes the accelerator, turns into some sort of ball and collides with the particles. The result? You suddenly end up in another world! To make things more interesting, there will be all kinds of monsters, creepy-crawlies and even aliens making your life miserable.
The game is basically action-based, with some elements of adventure and tactical planning. It is extremely long, and can sometimes get frustrating during long levels. After each completed level, you are supplied with a code for accessing the next one, so you don't have to start from the beginning every time. As I have stated before, the sound and graphics are excellent for the time, and the gameplay is varied and certain to keep you busy for some time.
Definitely worth a look, so go ahead and download!
