Rescue Rover is a nice little puzzle game, produced by the legendary id Software for SoftDisk, because at the time id had to provide them with a new game every 2 months.
The game puts you in the role of Roger, who must rescue his dog Rover from the evil robots. Each level starts with Roger climbing a ladder into the robot hideout. Your main goal is to rescue Rover, but that's easier said than done. The robots are on guard, and they've placed laser barriers, moats, etc. to stop you. Fortunately, you're smarter than they are! The graphics are EGA, but while the environment could have been better than just green walls and glass floors, the characters and items look fine. Also, the game only features PC-Speaker sounds.
Overall, Rescue Rover is a fun puzzle game that could use some sound. Go give it a try -- if you're a puzzle fan I definitely recommend it!
