Dear Abandonia visitors: We are a small team that runs one of the largest DOS Games websites in the world. We have only 3 members of staff, but serve 450,000 users and have outgoing costs like any other top site for example: our servers, power, rent, programs, and staff. Abandonia is something special. It is a library of old games for you to download. It is like an old gaming arcade with all the old games in their original format. Abandonia is a place where you can find great old games and have fun four hours and years. To protect our independence, we are dependent of our friends using the site. We run on donations averaging around 6 USD (5 Euro). If everyone reading this gave the price of a cup of coffee, our fundraiser would be made easier. If Abandonia is useful to you, take one minute to keep it online for another year. Please help us forget fundraising and get back to Abandonia.

When Abandonia was founded it was to collect and present all old games where the copyright protection had been abandoned, hence the term ’abandonware’ and the site name Abandonia.com. We are still doing our best to keep the site open and free and will appreciate your support to help it stay that way.

‐ Thank you from the Abandonia Team

We are trying to make it easy for people in every country to donate. Please let us know how we could make it easier for you.

Please give whatever you can to help us.

«The curators are reporting that priceless Smithsonian treasures are missing from exhibitions. They've been misplaced or hidden somewhere in the vast museum complex. Tomorrow the President is making an official televised visit to open the Treasures of the Smithsonian exhibition and it's complete chaos down there! Nothing is in the right place! No one can find anything! I'm sending you two on the greatest search ever. You must find all the objects on my list before the museum open at 10:00 a.m. They could be anywhere!»

As you can see from this short intro text, in Mystery you direct little Edison who is helping his boss Smitty to find lost objects. This is a very entertaining puzzle game that can be played by both kids and adults.

«You must find all the items displayed on the slide screen before the digital timer runs down to zero or before the clock reaches 10:00 a.m. Click on the item to find out what it is. Items that have been found will have a check mark on top of them. To get to the map, click on the word "map". Good luck and happy hunting!»

The game is combined of lot of other mini games inside it. Before you start, you can choose a difficulty level or customize your own. If you are having trouble completing the tasks, you can always choose a lower level of difficulty.

There are a few amazing things inside the game. First thing is that you can change looks of Edison! You can change colours of his clothes or even colour of his skin. Try pink it looks cool. Second thing is the «Don't touch» button. When you press it...well, you will find out what happens.

I suggest you to try and play it. It's very educational since there's always something you can learn from it.
