Origin really went all-out to create a perfect action game and also couldn't help but add a little more gameplay than simply shooting. Crusader: No Remorse is a 2D isometric action game with some strategy elements thrown in. You play an assassin called a "silencer" who worked for the World Economic Consortium, but changed sides when the WEC decided he and his friends were too much of a risk. The story is not the strongest part of the game, but this can be overlooked, because the graphics and gameplay are simply amazing.

The game is actually pretty basic; you can get an assortment of weapons, and all you need to do is make your way from one side of a stage to another, while killing as many WEC employees as you can. As simple as this premise is, there is still the concept of strategy involved; there can be more than one way to get through a stage. You'll often end up playing a scene a couple of times until you manage to get through, since things can get quite tough sometimes. Ranging from assault rifles to EMP and spider bombs, the weapons in the game can either be picked up along the way or bought between stages using money that you can pick up from your slain foes.

The music in the game is good, using all kinds of techno beats to create a great atmosphere, but it can get a bit annoying once you've heard the same tracks over and over again.

Watch out, this game can get quite addictive, so keep food and water close by!

To play this game you MUST mount the game on drive C (D, E, F etc. will not work). Also, be sure to create a folder in the main Crusader directory entitled "SAVEGAME" so that the game can be saved properly.
