Once upon a time, there was a kind guy called Grey Knight that started a MOD called Sojourn. Ok, just joking...that guy is still alive but the Sojourn MOD has stopped its developing. There is a yahoo group called ADT (Ascendancy Development Team), but nobody there is still going to continue the MOD

I don't want to continue the Sojourn MOD, but that work had great concept ideas in it.

- I know nothing more than Pascal of programation.
- What is Mod?
- I dont belive in german.
- I dont get many time.

Oh, finally somebody replying!

- Pascal is good! I also started from that!
- a MOD is a MODification of the original game (use http://www.acronymfinder.com/ when you need to understand acronyms )
- I don't speak german! I just published a link to the old MOD location...

If you know your way around Pascal, you should find it around most scripting systems used in games.

Using the tools and my updated MODguide, you can start editing the game

For all the Ascendancy Fans out there who search for a better Ascendancy,
(like me!!!) or painful wait for Ascendancy 2 MultiVerse or something like that.

It is nothing, but a modified Ascend00.COB File, i did everything i can during two Weeks,
to make at least a little Dream happen. Just modified the Ascend00.COB creating
an Ascendancy MOD called ASCENDANCY THE SUPREMACY... dont expect too much, the Lack of the AI
is painful and sad, and to just modify that 00.COB does not change anything in AI "Behavior"...

but let me tell you THAT: Sometimes it almost works...

I'm no fan of Ascendancy but I'm sure this would be useful to the FANATICS!!!

Ascendancy is a sweet little Sci-Fi Game, released 1995...

it had and still has a few Things, such as Sound or Graphics, some other Things, these are fantastic.
Played the Game as Youth, and ever dreamed about playing my once favorite Game harder than
it -damned poor stupid AI- is. There are many Games, much better than Ascendancy, and that
Ascendancy itself is nothing but a sweet little Sci-Fi Game, which i handled to increase Strength.

My old Dream came true, i did that for two Weeks, cause my Cousin played that first Time,
after installing his new Laptop and the DOS-BOX on Linux, he took the first interesting DOS-Game
to proof everything, and called me to get some Game Hints. He really thought to lose, cause the
AI Enemy called Minions was really bad, but the Smart Bomb solved the Problem at last.

Then i played that after Years and Years, and there i found out, that i could mod that Thing.
Thats all. My Cousin knows now, what i know: That Original Ascendancy gets boring soon.

Today my favorite Sci-Fi Game is Space Rangers 2 Reboot.
