Hi,
i downloaded the game but i can't figure out how to install the game... the only exec program is x.exe, which doens't seem to do anything... my computer doens't install.sys as a valid program. Any help would be appreciated. Also, since it is an old game ( i remember playing it on my dads old amiga way back when) do i have to run XP in 98 mode or anything interesting like that to play? thanks |

According to compatibility info, it should run in XP, so compatiblity modes for W95 and 98 are a good start. Next thing would be VDMSound, and if this doesn't work as well, then you'll have to use DosBox... and yes, DosBox is pretty... "interesting" as you formulated it.

I downloaded this game on Windows Xp but it wont run despite appearing to have the compatabilty icon, anyone have any ideas? Pinball Dreams was afavourite of mine for years

When I try to start the game with DosBox it says that the install.sys should be in the root directory of the hard drive... I don´t think just put it onto C: can solve the problem, but if it´s in the normal game folder it doesn´t work eiterh... What to do? :x

Very simple. Just MOUNT the game's directory as C drive in DosBox.
