i didn't want to start a new topic for my first post, but after searching to some extent with no luck, i decided to start one anyway.
my question is can i squeeze out more memory if i run mouse.com rather than the logitech driver mouse.exe? i am running dos 6.2, sb16 drivers, cd drivers, and the mouse drivers. i've got 550k free in conventional memory, and 62,800k in xms. my total free ems is 32,768. with all of this i would think that i would have well over the required amounts needed, but i still receive errors not enough memory (conventional or extended). memmaker and emm386 have apparently given me more to work with, however its just not enough. any suggestions would be appreciated. |

I get 598, with mouse driver, sound driver and cd rom driver.I'm using DOS 7.1.If you want i can attach the autoexec sys and config sys, so you can modify yours accordingly.I would also suggest you upgrade to 7.1, which is free, if i'm not mistaken.
