Just recently when I try playing any oldgames eg DOS even Chip's Challenge I always came up with an error:
"file location" C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application. Could anyone help? I know that most of the DOS ones work by DOSBox but the others don't. Thanks, Apoorva |

Most often problem I had with DOS was not enough conventional memory.

Remove all TSR's from memory.Pretty simple, unlike the complex errors that some windows games can return :angry:

Problem was that when I load mouse, soundblaster and CD rom drivers (all required for the game to work properly) I have not enough memory left to start the game. :blink:
Amiga DOS/Workbench was way better. :bleh: |
