Good news, folks!
It seems that after a week of research done in this topic, I found out that the best option is to play Nexuiz. It's like Quake 3 crossed with Unreal Tournament 99, and dude, it works! If you like action filled FPS games with lot of weapons and weapon modes, your place might be just here. There are also tons of game modes, such as deathmatch, capture the flag, instagib, and a lot of new ones! The server is called "LordTracker's Realm 2.5.2 DM Server", can be easily found via the client. It hasn't quit the testing phase yet, but I'll try to run it every weekend for a long period of time. On weekdays it is not going to run. Download the client from the above the link, and unpack it to somewhere and run nexuiz.exe. You need not to do anything else to be able to play. Feel free to PM me or write here if you'd like to know something (like "Why would you expect anyone to play?" and such).

I managed to find a portable Hamachi, Tracker, so we could try tomorrow with that. The Creat Game from Multiplayer in-game is specifically designed for LAN, and it is easy to set up.

Good to hear this, TA, I was very disappointed with Nexuiz last night - I was mad at it. I'll try to find some time to test it. Otherwise the game is perfect.
