Default Old FPS knight game?

Hey guys,

I'm having trouble remembering what this game was called that I played at a friend's house many years ago...

It's been about 15 years I guess, so bear with me.

The game was first person perspective I'm pretty sure, either that or a seemingly real time dungeon scroller. In the game, there were parts where you were undergrtound in a sewer or basement or something, and rats attacked you sometimes, but you had a sword and perhaps other weapons to fight with. Also, if you attacked merchants in towns to get their gold, then there were these knights that came after you.

Sorry it's too vague, but I think I would be able to remember if there were some suggestions so I could look up some screenshots.

Thank you!

If it wasn't for the 15 years thing I would have suggested one of the Thief games. The description sounds a lot like Legends of Valour though.

Probably Daggerfall, you can check google images for pictures. Another maybe could be Lands of Lore

Cool

Thanks for the suggestion, That might be it. Do the knights come after you in that game if you're bad?

Rune?

I doubt it's what you're looking for, but the description match...

It sounds to me actually like Elder Scrolls - Arena. Check out the screenshots here: Abandonia and Mobygames and see if that's it. The knights that you mentioned might be the guards that spawn and come after you if you attack someone in town or try to pick a door lock without success / enter a house where the door was locked.

Perhaps the game is Strife by Rogue Entertainment?

Not quite fifteen years old. Features a fist with a dagger/brass knuckle melee attack.
