![]() Hi there everyone!
I just found myself the windows copy (gold edition) of X-Com: UFO Defence. I got it to work on my Windows XP by decreasing the hardware acceleration - however there is still one very annoying problem... In battle mode - the scrolling, the fire movement, and everything in general is running at near light speed! Even if I set everything to 1 it's still too fast to control. :wallbash: Is there any way I can get around this? Some way to drastically slow down game speed? Anyone willing to help a gamer-girl out? Thanks guys! - Sofia |

![]() And if none of the above work (which i doubt) try using compatibility mode... if that doesn't work either, start the game, alt + tab to desktop, press ctrl + alt + del, goto the processes tab, r-click the .exe and select the highest priority mode. i know it sounds awkward but it actually slows down the clocking speed of your cpu. xp is a strange thing. hope it helps.
