HL1 and it's mods worked preety good on dial up connection.

I know that you can play Age of Empires 1&2 online using a modem, and probably most of the RTS games.

Any of the Combat Mission Games - they're turn-based, so it doesn't matter that you're on a slow connection, and you can also play them by PBEM.

<_< Deus Ex ( what are your computer specs ) it is really good two teams with about 6 people on a dial up 56k modem. Great, Nsf or Unatco mainly. Quake 3 I am playing the demo version though  I wonder if i could play a mega drive ( genesis ) game on line just thinking, never will though.    |
