![]() I ran up the config to config ninja gaiden and now the sound in windows running dosbox now distorts.What Am I Doing Wrong?

![]() Make sure you select Soundblaster or Compatible, DOSBox emulate that soundcard in priority.

![]() you can also use adlib music synthetiser, i personally think that it's even betterthan roland in case of most of old games. sounds are less.. wierd. maybe you thought it's distorted while it's normal roland sound=)

Also, it might be a good idea to change the soundcard emulation to Sound Blaster Pro 2 (assuming you left it at default Sound Blaster 16), as SB16 emulation seems to produce certain sound oddities every now and then (well, at least for me it does). |

Junji: you are trying to run a very, very old game. There is no workaround, for all that we knows maybe the game was designed that way. PC sound should come from your PC speaker, not your normal speakers and this could explain the distortion. |
