This was one of my first adventure games too. I was pretty young at the time but I've got the talking version with voice.

The thing I loved about adventure games was the smallest details. Just everything stood out in them and they were "adventures". The closest game to an adventure last released I can think of that I loved was Shenmue I and Shenmue II. They have EVERY aspect to a adventure game. It's all about Japanese culture but it's an amazing series for dreamcast, unfortunately the series is in jeapordy and no one knows if the rest will be released because it was considered one of the most expensive projects ever made due to the research involved and it didn't draw too much money (as not too many people are big on adventure games). It's very interactive though and I recommend it.

i wonder how come the editors gave this a 3-rating?

LOOM is one of the best adventures I ever played. it's really different from anything else. I love it!

It was Kosta himself. I also don't share this opinion, but tastes may differ... At least you have the option to rate the game by yourself and give it a straight 5.

I want to know if someone know where I can find the 256 colors version, and if I need something special to make it work(crakcs, drivers, etc)

Loom is a great game, but depends a lot of memory.

It's ESA-protected, so only through something like ebay, I'm afraid. Alternatively, you could try sending your discs to Lucas Arts along with a nice letter asking them to replace your discs so you can play the game again, but I wouldn't count on it.

What is wrong? How come the game doesn't run? I have the original version (bought it many years ago) and it still works - no problems installing it under windows...
