I still own the original copy of this game. I never got too far in the game due to the fact that I wasn't that good at city building myself.
It certainly has it's flaws though. I had a better time with Caesar III, but still wasn't good enough to own palaces and have a good enough defense to hold back the enemy. |

Hello people.
One of my friends mentioned to me over MSN that he successfully downloaded Caesar 2 from this site. The archive however missed several or all battle files (.PL8) and is thus unplayable as soon as you enter a battle. I am not really concerned about my friend since he is very computer savvy (he even told me he already have found and downloaded the files from another source) but if what he told me is true, the archive on AB for this game is either faulty or broken. At first I thought that it was an issue between floppy and CD versions (and thus size), but it seems that the missing files are only a handful of megs more to add to the archive... Would it be possible for someone to look into the matter please? |

Raises more the question why someone would prefer the floppy (or rip) over the CD version from the ISO cellar, seems the CD image is only some 31MB ....
Or even: why not put the CD image on AB in stead of putting it in the ISO cellar? 31MB ......

I don't think it is the point.
If what I've been told is true, then we have a broken copy of the game... Which is unacceptable by AB standards. |

the game is still incomplete, I just tried it...doesnt work when you try to go into a battle, it crashes...missing some files. would it be possible to fix it? as someone mentioned here half a year ago, it isnt up to the usual Abandonia standard. and yet, it still hasnt been fixed...
