Noone saying Diablo? WoW? CS? X-Com? GTA?
I'd personaly prefere the Halo movie.. the Halo-story will make a resonably good script.

It would be cool to see a movie based on the events in both Star Wars Knights of the Old Republics since the movies 1-6 are finished. This can't be the end of star wars movies, can it?

Halo's funding got jacked =D I'd do...Alice. Cept its already being done =D Otherwise...Arcanum. I'd love to see the steampunk type machines translated into a movie, if done right that coule be *very* cool. |

but GTA might just work if done the right way. and burger, i think the KOTOR storylines should stay in the KOTOR games (i mean look at ep 1, 2 and 3 if you want an example of why) and about the halo movie, apparently peter jackson is already doing a royal screwjob of it so i wouldn't get my hopes up. almost all game-movie conversions have been crap so i don't have hope if seeing any decent ones. but one thing about the postal movie - oh sh**. i don't see how there's a coherent storyline to taken from it because sure, it's fun using cats as shotgun silencers but how would that translate into a movie?? add that to the fact it's an uwe boll job and you'll get a truly sh**y film.

TIE-Fighter! It has a plot, lots and lots of really cool crafts, ace pilots, lots of rebel scum waiting for their doom, evil renegade admirals, undercover agents... That would have been sweet.

i don't see what depth you'd get out of a movie revolving entirely around TIE fighters unless there was a "forbidden love" or something of that nature as there is no story to tell that hasn't already been told in some other way (i mean, spending a whole film trying to prevent a coup has been done before in other films in a more subtle way. the most subtle way of doing it without messing around with the storyline in a major way would be as subtle as a brick IMO. the only games that could be in any way made into movies with minimal adjustment of the storyline etc would be stuff like metal gear solid/GTA etc

Depth? We are talking about a world that allows Sylvester Stallone and Arnold roam free under no threat of being fired upon, locked up and fired upon again. "We don't need no stinking depth, unless it's Das Boot"
Ok, so it would be a pretty silly movie, but have you seen "Battle of Britain"?

it would be nice if they actuly had actors and people that have played games for a hobby in ther life make the movie insted of somebody just reading the story or learning of the game just before they shoot the film. |

Edit: Now that I think about it, I'd be up for a movie of Grim Fandango - done in stop motion animation, a la Nightmare Before Christmas or The Corpse Bride.
