Personally I like weapons as a form of art.
To make a sword well-balanced and ornamental is proof of a highly skilled artisan. Most guns look life-less to me, no finesse. Classical weaponry, if made correctly, look astounding.

Thats not true, shooting and handling a weapon is quite an art too. Not to mention the finetuning of a weapon, making sure it balanced, smooth annd stable. I always compare a gun with a motorcycle in forms of art. Nobody will call a motorcycle a piece of art (like one would call a painting an artwork), but it can be aesthetically pleasing and one can admire and enjoy its design and engineering. Same for a gun.

Myself I think that older weapons (like swords,axes,maces,etc...) are form of art.The weapons in present are just ugly little thing that kill people. And do their job too well.
When talking about pool I voted for "already have".I dont have it myself (world would be even stranger, than already is,when there were running around 17 years old teenies with legally owned weapons ) but in my family is quite many guns. From firearms for self-defence to collection of older weaponry(swords....) |

I would like to have a gun for the purpose of bird-hunting. There is no use for guns for the purpose of protection here in Iceland.
Oh, and I'd like a BBgun  they're cool! My boyfriend has one.. and he's also got a mark on his belly since he accidentally shot himself. How intelligent :bleh: About swords... I'd love to have a sword collection! My cousin has one, but it's illegal. Her dad is the chief-police man on the international airport, and he helped her import them from europe  |

I've got a BBgun, very illegal around here. It was a joke back when I got it, but I must say I don't really like it anymore.
I voted no. After all, If someone were to 'bully' me, I am not really intent on drawing any kind of weapon at all. And if someone were to try and rob, rape (!?), molest or even kill me, carrying a gun wouldn't really make things better, would it?

It wouldn't make it any worse, but it wouldn't make it any better. Also, carrying a gun makes you a target, nevermind an easy one.
