Definately Dragon Warrior 4 for the Nintendo, the plot was great and the set up for it was very unique. I have never seen another game with a monster battle betting arena (though i'm sure they are out there.) Many different but distinct characters to play. and the graphics were great. Detailed enough for me and the spells took 2 seconds tops for their graphics. Many great memories of it.

Also top picks are Earthbound for the Nintendo, and Earthbound for the Super Nintendo. Oh, and Final Fantasy 6 and Chrono Trigger. I'd put Chrono Cross up, but I can't find time to beat it. But it remains the only game in which i have ever recieved a "sacred lickeroo from Lickey the Cat."
