Wish I had a camera to show off my surroundings, bummer.

If I take picture of my computer room, you'll find puff's room well organized. Have to check where my cam is.

(One of the reasons I don't take care of the room is that I was way to busy, and that I'll move computer to basement as soon as I'm done remodeling it.

I would take photos of the office with the new camera I got for working in this foul prison for 5 years but the other writers have threatened me bodily harm if I do so.

We are chained to our desks and haven't seen the sunlight for years and so we are not very photogenic, but basically we just have our desks lined up downstairs and we just have photos and nametags and a few games here and there to mix it up.

If I can talk them into being social I will have to post a picture

Wow, you people have alot of stuff. My "room" is a bunk next to two other bunks. There is a locker at the foot that I keep clothes and things in. My room with my Aunt and Uncle is about the same size, but with only one bed and and a closet.

I do not have a digital camera, but I can maybe scan some pictures into a scanner later on the weekend if I am lucky.

I like this thread (great idea, Tom!), and hence wish to contribute.

I've lived in several different apartments during the past few years. Currently I'm residing in a student flat, but will most likely be moving to a bigger one with my girlfriend after the summer.

This is a small apartment, but I've managed to squeeze in about 75% of my stuff, which is enough. Some books, clothes and old computer stuff are stored elsewhere, waiting for more Lebensraum.

Sorry, the numbers didn't come out right and I'm too lazy to fix them.

This is what you first see when you enter my room: a wall.
1. Polish socialistic posters from the '50s. ("Stop drinking! Come with us to build a happier tomorrow", and "Militia - your protector and benefactor")
2. A small drum I bought from Zakopane. Used when bored and/or waiting for something to happen. Helps to think.
3. The presidents of Finland. Needed something to cover the wall with, and these postcards were adequate for that purpose.
4. A cloth with fishies I got from a Filipino friend many years ago.
5. My double bed, and the main reason for having only a couple of square meters of free floorspace, and for me not being able to open 50% of my table drawers.

Oooh, stuff.
1. My favourite coffee mug, featuring Vlad Tepes. bought nearby the castle of Bran, Romania.
2. Yes, it was I who stole it. Just don't tell anyone, will you?
3. The tabletop that I'm using as a web server and storage space.
4. Laptop. To prevent overheating caused by the wooden table, it is supported by Economics and Global Marketing.
5. A small Polish dictionary and tasty Cherry Drops. Both very important things.
6. Visited the town and found some good stuff.
7. Curtain to block the evil natural light with.

The bookshelf. This picture made me realize that the middle part is about to collapse.
1. Vodka, the alcoholic teddy bear of mine, who has been travelling with me all across the world.
2. Music and assorted souvenirs.
3. Books. Only the essentials, the rest are in a storage.
4. DVDs, some games, CDs, junk.
5. Various CD-Roms and some alcohol (Pan Tadeusz vodka and some cognac).
6. Various junk of minor importance.
7. Picture of girlfriend.

Here's the kitchen.
1. Coffee machine. The light is on, which always puts me into a happy mood.
2. The microwave, generally used for heating the yesterdays food.
3. The fridge that has problems with the temperature - it's not uncommon to find out that altough the milk is warm, some of the foodstuffs are frozen.
4. The secondary coffee machine. Just in case.
5. Here be dragons (and the secret caffeine storage).

View from the window.

That's a hell of a view out of your window. a distinct improvement on mine, whcih consists usually of the trendy and unpleasant girls across the road trying to park the cars their daddies bought them, which is amusing sometimes but not very aesthetically pleasing. I might take some piccies after lunch, for i am currently hungry.
