The fingerings between Saxophone and flute are almost the exact same...I had to learn a hadnful of different ones (I think I could count them on one hand), and I had to learn how to blow across the hole, bot otherwise they are almost the exact same.
Seperating the saxes makes perfect sense, because anyone who has played saxophone before can tell you how different they are. When I first tried to play tenor from Alto, it took me a bit...but I guess you are right. Thanks for the compliment though...music is what I do...'tis my life. |
