No doubt a stupid question but can someone tell me what I need to do to be able to read the text that comes up when someone is talking to me in the game? All I can see are vague black patterns withn the white box. Also (again no doubt stupid) how do I pick up an object or open an object (ie. a locker).

I have only just downloaded the game on a whim - haven't played it since we first got a PC in the early-mid 80s - can't wait to play it again!

Any help would be great.

One are you playing this in Dosbox? Cause the text should just be text.

The other question is simple. Type Open door, or Get object.

I can do you one better. Instead of "o door" and "c door", you can simply type "o d" and "c d".
