IMHO, except GOG.com that rarely offers “popular” games for free, Origin was offering games for free until they stopped or are delaying to offer another game.

Just to get an idea, I got many “good” old games:

• Crusader no Remorse;
• Dragon Age Origins;
• Mass Effect 2 (standard);
• Syndicate;
• Sim City 2000;
• Star Wars Old Republic (browser game?);
• The Sims 2;
• Theme Hospital;
• Ultima VIII;
• Wing Commander III;
• and others less “popular” games.

Whether it is bad or not, working right or not, I would register to get the games for free and who knows if the programs do not improve and fix the bugs in the future.
