How interesting. I knew that the Portuguese language had ties to Latin, but it has identical words in the Portuguese and Italian (and Spanish) languages:

• Finito (Finite);

• Caro (Dear, Expensive);

• Amigo (Friend);

• Capo (?), Japo (?), Sapo (Frog, Toad, Orc?).
