BTW, do they sell the DOS or the Windows versions of the first two games on GOG.com? I'd assume the DVD collection has the Windows versions.

That is because there is no download allowed for this game. It can be bought from GoG here on that note is the GoG version the same version? Since if it is I will change the protected to a buy link.

You probably have too much available space. This causes an integer overflow and consequently the behavior you're describing. Are you playing the Windows version or perhaps the DOS version in DOSBox?

There's an easy solution, then. When mounting, use the -freesize parameter followed by a number specifying how many MB DOSBox is supposed to report to the games. (700 will do fine)

No,won't work

My command:mount c c:/dosgames -t cdrom -ioctl dx -freesize 700

when I want to save the game goes back to the DosBoxMenu with
following written:Error opening File/games/newgame.GM1

You should not be using -t cdrom -ioctl dx in this command in the first place!
By mounting anything as -t cdrom you're mounting it as read-only - games can't save anything there!
mount c c:/dosgames -freesize 700 is all you're supposed to be entering.
