GameBiz
Hi, I'm looking for a shareware game from the 90s. It was a 2D shooter, and in it you were part of the police in some futuristic city, and you had a car with guns on it. Does anyone know the title of this game?

game name
Hello. Long time ago I played a game related to history of video games, and now can not remember its name. You had to build game engine, then develop new games and release on various consoles. I think it wasn't an old game.

Are you referring to the GameBiz games? There are two of those, really. And you can get them at our sister site, Reloaded:
GameBiz GameBiz 2 I hope these are what you are looking for. Enjoy! Last edited by El Quia; 27-10-2012 at 03:55 AM. Reason: Typo |

There's also a third part to the series but it's a paid title.
Also if by any chance you're Android user I couldn't recommend GameDev Story more, it's a brilliant little mobile title dealing with same thing (game development company simulation minus all the console/PC building possibilities).

Gamebiz is excellent, someone recommended it to me on the FTL forums, and I was so fascinated with GB2 that I forked out the 15 Euros for GB3 and it was well worth it, big improvement over part 2 and one of the most engrossing economic simulations since Capitalism 2. Especially for abandonware gamers its awesome to relieve the gamebiz history, part 3 has real names.
