![]() This might be the problem you were having: simply opening any of the files encoded with ZMBV in Encoder usually made it crash. I noticed Ffdshow was popping up, which I have installed as part of the K-lite pack. Check your Start menu or if icons pop up in the tray notification area. I added Encoder to its exclude list to avoid using it, and then I had no problems.
