![]() I remember Grime well! I registered to reply, looking for it. :P
It was ASCII-based, your player/cannon was an up-arrow, the Yen symbols would rain down at high speed and seed the Grime, covered with a crust of dithered squares. When you shot though the crust, the Grime (big asterisks) would pour out, and chase you if you were foolish enough to move instead of just blasting them through the hole you made. The card-suit symbols would scramble the grime and spread it as they ran across the screen. I played this on my grandfather's Visual Commuter "portable" IBM clone and amber monochrome monitor. Has this classic been lost to time? |
