Editing BloodNet saves
Decking ain't cheap, we all know that. Here's a way to make things go a tad
bit easier for you. In any bloodnet save game, load it up in your favorite Hex-editor (We used DiskEdit from Norton) and go to offset 842 (Hex 34A) change the 3 bytes there to FF FF FF (I.E. 34A will be FF, 34B will be FF, etc.), now, the microporse people were trying to be tricky, they decided to check for cheaters and save the money location twice. Now go to offset 17,769 (Hex 4569), look familiar? I thought so. Do the same thing and VIOLA! You now have 16.7 Million virtual dollars! Have fun! for me now no result when trying make it last time.... Last edited by Alex24; 28-10-2009 at 08:43 PM. |

Couple of questions about the game itself.
1. Is it as the manual states that the humanity indicator is always slowly edging towards becoming a vampire, which in other words means that there is a timelimit to the game itself and how long you can keep it going? 2. If the answer to 1 is yes, is it possible to keep playing with your current character after defeating the time-limit by beating the game, sorta like the BAT games(Also RPGs mixed with adventure and action)? Thanks for any helpful replies! Edit: Comeon, surely someone knows? Last edited by Gargantou; 19-01-2010 at 12:16 PM. |

Decking Fats
Quote:
I messed around with character creation a bit, and it seems that in order to access WELLS through the FATS modules, you need a minimum of 25 points in all three cyberskills. ...which is totally not worth it, since you can just get the patch cord and pretty much any other team member and use their cyberskills to deck into cyberspace. Those skill points should instead be spent on blades, firearms, agility and observation - pretty much the only important skills in the game. BTW, I love this game, even though it sucks in so many ways. |

Compatibility Issues
I'm having trouble running Bloodnet via a Windows 7 computer. I've tried DOS Box but I haven't gotten a single thing accomplished. Could someone please post the steps on what one must do to run Bloodnet?
I'd really appreciate it and thanks in advance. |
