SqualidAngel did not say he could not download DOSBox because his PC was too slow, but that he could not run DOSBox because his PC was too slow. Heck, DOSBox is 1 meg, if you can't download that you have a very serious problem...
hmm Well, I downloaded it and it crashes my pc. (It freezes up) I don't need it anyway since I have WIN98 I haven't had a problem running games in dos mode.
I also read somewhere that it needs alot of something to run...??? Like I said I am ignorant of such things and just know that my pc is 6 yrs old. So you think I can use dosbox..? Or should I just go for the other programs suggests by Wael?

Depends how good a 6yr old pc it is but they guess you need a Pentium 2 with 400MHz + processor to run games for 286 using DosBox so the chances are your computer will not work well in DosBox.

However, I take all my screenshots in Irfanview (can't be bothered to find the link, Wael posted it above) and I only very occassionally have trouble with it. That would be my recommendation for taking screenshots of anything running in Windows.

Obviously, if you are running games in proper Dos it won't work because it's a Windows program. It should work with anything running in a windows dos shell though!

Hope that helps.

The problem is not really a problem. Just tell me what's the game by PM and I'll be happy to take the screen pic for you k:
I take care of little good awesome text games-everyone who add new ones is a great one in my heart

Thanks Squalid

Squalid: DOSBox doesn't work in Win98 first of all... That's why you have those crashing problems.

I don't know if you or anyone read my posts on the subject of dosbox. But if you have you would know why I had such problems with it .

Try obtaining Screen Thief. It's free and works under MS-DOS.
