I have fond memories of playing this game a lot on arcade, back in Brazil, in the early nineties.
I would get as far a the third or fourth level with 2 credits. I used to think that the game finished once you killed death adder but now I know that is not the case... |

Is it not? :weird: The arcade version or the PC one? I've beaten the former several times and I just saw the ending clip.

This is like a port of the Genesis, or as we say over here Mega Drive version. I didn't last to the end because the gameplay is choppy and uneven by comparison. That said, being able to control the characters via a mouse was really cool.
Can I assume the ending is similar to the Genesis version? For me despite being shorter, the MAME/Arcade version wins. |

This question likely has been asked a thousand and one times but, how does one reconfigure the controls? I don't have a joystick, mouse movement is too wiggly, but the keyboard and keypad controls are too cramped for me. The text file in the game suggests they can be reconfigured, but how? Help me, Abandonia, you're my only hope.

You can always use DOSBox' built-in keymapper (CTRL+F1).

Built my own arcade machine several years back and this was one of the first games to go in it. I must have put a decent amount of coinage through the one at the local milkbar & when i got it on pc me and my brothers would hack away for hours. I'd totally forgotten the pc version had duel mode... grabbed.
