Hi all, can anyone help me, I'm trying to download the "Prince of Persia", played it years ago and loved it! But how do I do it, I click and it unzips but then what do I do or open to play or install etc? Thanks.

you need to use dosbox, download dosbox at www.dosbox.com and then drag and drop prince of persia excutable to the dosbox excutable, that is enough since the game doesn't require any special configuration

It was very interesting to read all the reactions to this game... I didn't catch anybody mention my favorite trick though... at 35 pages I could have missed it though

I'd always beat the guard at the start of level 8 by putting down my sword and drawing it up again and lunging after he took the bait by thinking I was off guard. I guess it can be called an exploit but when I was 11, all my friends thought it was clever of me to figure it out. It was definitely interesting from a game mechanics point of view.

I remember when I spent an hour everyday at this game for a month till I could complete it with 38 minutes left. Ahh... the memories.

I think I have explored every nook and cranny of the game. The only "trick" I haven't done... is getting the level 5 potion. I am convinced that it is impossible without a cheat, and only serves to play the "your shadow is out to get you" story.

I have just downloaded this awesome game. I have a problem though. Im trying to kill the first dude but my sword newer appears. Can someone please tell me what controls i shall use?

You'll have to find the sword first, after that the sword appears automatically when the prince sees an enemy.

You'll find the sword in the first level, just go to the left. Use shift to attack and up arrow to block an attack.

I remember playing it, but i never got off the 3rd level,without cheats,lol.

Hello, fellow abandonians.

I seem to have an issue with the game because, whenever I load it on DOSBox, it asks me to insert the Prince of Persia disk on the C: drive.

I downloaded it from your website without problems and, unless you are suppossed to do some ol DOSBox trickery to run it, I am baffled and unable to play this masterpiece.
