Sound files make it this large but it is not that big.

X-Wing is not the first Lucas Arts game we have on the site.

This game is still protected by the copyright owner.

Therefore we cannot:
1. put it up for download on Abandonia
2. provide you with links to any source of download
3. send you the archive through e-mail
4. send it to you via any messenger programs

So please don't ask for it.

If you want it, look for used copies on eBay or Amazon.

Hello
Since, as we were informed be the news page, Lucas Arts left ESA, are there any chances that we get this fantastic game for download now? :-)

Extra long on demand: (*afterall it's only the thousands time the same question is answered on this site and some zillion other AW sites ...*
Lucasarts still OWNS the games.
ESA NEVER owned them.
And Lucasarts still protects their games.
Add plenty and longwinded blablablablablablablablablablablablablabla blablablablablablablablablablablablablabla.

Long enough?

Hi there!
Back in the old years I've been playing both X-Wing and TIE Fighter with my joystick. Unfortunately, I do not own one now and I'm not planning to buy one. The question is if this game is playable with mouse. I just can't remember if there was an option to fly with it and if there was - how does the ship behave? Like in Bruno R. Marcos' Battles of Yavin/Endor or Microsoft's Freelancer (the mouse control is perfect there) or the controls are so sturdy that you have to move your mouse five times over your pad to turn your ship around thus making the game unplayable?

Yes, you have to move your mouse five times over your pad to turn your ship around. The problem is that otherwise it would be impossible to aim. I recommend to buy the cheapest analog joystick you find, that's enough for this game.
