I beat it!!!
Now I feel like I've been robbed of an ending.
Here's what you do to finish:
Have the wet cloth ready and take the stone.
Go to the ghoul in the house at the swamp.
Give him the stone.
Go to the stake.
Use the skull on the mortal remains and congrats, you finished the last half of darkness part 3!
Don't tell me the ending was as lame as in part 1.
Congratulations! Now I can safely remove the notes part about the bug/glitch, since the game can be finished.

Damn, you were a bit faster than me, since I had no time to go on and I had to wait for answers to my email with the maker too. But yeah, you´re right. I found out today what was missing. Due to the disappointing ending and another sad fact, I won´t finish my walkthrough, there´s no need to do so.

I don´t know if you care about but I also asked the maker about sharing this game as abandonware. I didn´t tell him where I got the game from and he never asked. But to be honest, I think I simply quote from one of his mails:

"Glad you enjoyed the earlier games... however I don't want part 3 released as abandonedware - I don't want to confuse people with Part 3 and/or Tomb of Zojir and "mostly" because the quality of part 3 is very bad - as you can probably see with the glitches and such. "

I don´t know if you want to remove the game now or pretend you never read that, but I thought at least I let you know, so you´re prepared for any trouble if the maker finds out.

Can someone contact the guy where you got the game from? Tell him we solved it, thanks.

Gotta finish my last mail, I need to tell Bill I made it through.

Cya.

Well I'm sorry to say this, but we only remove games when the author requests it personally. And even when we do, we only remove the download link, the page remains. So the confusion will remain, either way. Plus, Tomb of Zojir was never officially named LoHD III, I don't see what's the problem.

I remember that the author said to nes star, who asked for the game,to search on some abandonware sites. So where lies the truth?
Howewher,i finished the game too.The ending is REALLY dissapointing and the final part of the game has several plot holes (like the whole dog/girl question).
One last question: Is tomb of zojir finished and released to the public?

It's still in production.

It does have many loose ends to tie up.
The knife's only purpose is to kill the girl.
The game seems rushed. (I mean the design.)
The mansion has two missing rooms.
Unique in the respect that you can enter areas from more than one screen.
The door you see at the beginning can never be entered. (despite the fact you can enter the room.)
The ending is at the same level of information as in The Birds.
So it is a uninformative game.
Shadow_Stalker where does it talk about the story, unless it's from part 2 because I didn't play part 2.

The story is told both at the end of part 2 and in the manual that comes with part 2.Some parts of the manual are misleading, since it speaks about a "combat system" in part 3 which isn't present in the game at all.

I guess we can presume that, that weird ghost above the crate caused the shapeshifting with the girl, (I guess) but the only one who knows the answer is Fisher.
