The joystick just arrived and looks awesome, let's hope I have time on the weekend.

On an unrelated note, I just got shipped this:

I can already feel my geek score increasing.

I don't like soccer, but Pro Evolution Soccer 6 (yes, 6, qhy are you looking at me like that?) is really fun on my PC when a couple of friends come at home. There are two friends with whom I ALWAYS have to play at least three matches whenever they come home. Boy, those are heated matches!

Good choice on Kane and Lynch, extremely underrated game. Is even better when played through as co-op.

Assassin's Creed...

While awesome, it's repetitive as a bitch. Do missions for an hour, and it will feel like you've done them all already. And the game continues past that, with the same missions over and over again.

Not that it bugged me alot, though; I can just run around, climb buildings, assassinate people, etc. hours upon hours. But the missions were just crap, and far from as awesome as people make them out to be, in my opinion. You hear this BS about how you can ''take on the missions however you want to,'' which probably started after the GameTrailers.com review of it (which whoever reviewed it said so in). Couldn't be further away from the truth. If you're on a mission where you have to grab some dude and make him talk, that's all you do. You wait until he walks into an ally, then go for it. Nothing more to it.
And on the missions where you need to assassinate someone... well, same here. Again and again. Sure, you get to pick when you should ''go for it'', and from which direction, but does the translate to being able to ''take on the missions however you want to''? No freakin' way. Not even close.

Still, the game is awesome. More variety between the missions would be very much appreciated, though. But like I said; I can just play around for the longest time in it.

Oh, but it does include a pretty awesome story, though. And an awesome plot twist.

I just bought Terra Nova:Strike Force Centari . I impulsively purchased it after running across some gameplay videos on Youtube. I've wanted to play it since playing a demo from PC Gamer back in 1996. I now have the computer to run it.

It's pretty good so far.
