Hmmm..

The first 2 worlds are really way to go for most gamers..

Worlds 3 + 4 are indeed difficult...but still good to do..

I don't remember where exactly, probably later in the game, but there were several points where you could get stuck in a room if you were not careful and there was no way to get out (or maybe that was because I had infinite life on, so I didn't die when I should have? :whistle

Hey,

I was just reading the review and noticed the reviewer mentioned a lack of story/plot.

A childhood friend owned an Acorn 3000, and had this game. I'm absolutely certain that there's a screen just before the options screen that explains the story.

As far as I can remember, the game is set in ancient Greece, or at least a place strikingly similar. The player character is a warrior who wishes to become a god. The gods agree to grant this wish, but he first has to complete a challenge to ensure he is fit to join them. The challenge being, of course, to wander around slaying all sorts of demonic things and climbing around a bit.

By the way...does anyone else find it ironic that the guy wears a big iron mask to hide his face, then walks around with just his pants on? LOL
