Just get The Ur Quan Masters instead.
http://sc2.sourceforge.net/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Control_II It's a completely freeware remake of the game that is completely playable in Windows XP SP2 without any emulation - freeware because the original developers released the source code for the game as open source under the GPL. After playing through this, I can attest to it being the near exact game as the original. |
