Great funny game! Pity about it having hardly any animation, but it's great fun to play anyway. Enjoy!

This game immediately became one of my favorites. I frequently found myself laughing out loud. I probably would have finished it way sooner if I wasn't having so much fun with the text parser along the way. It was incredible how almost any verb + object combination you could think of would have a different witty response to it. One of my favorites that I can remember was when I was stuck in the temple with the girl who was going to be sacrificed and I didn't know what to do -- I tried "eat virgin" and the game replied along the lines of "perhaps you are confusing this with a Leisure Suit series of adventure games." I also liked what happened when you tried to burn something useless with the mini dragon lighter... "BURN BABY BURN!" haha. You might die a lot in this game, but your deaths were endlessly amusing. (That "undo" function came in very handy.)
Also, despite there not being any real animation, I found the graphics really enjoyable. Thanks for making this available for download!! |

Does anyone have the PDF docs that were available at the Underdogs website (which is now only "partially" online, i.e.: just reviews, no files) ?

Yeah - that's the right file, thanks!
Considering where this file is hosted, it should be me who found the link ;-) |

I found that comment on yt: "Do you have the soundcard set to Adlib or Sound Blaster? Some sound cards back then only played MIDI music and no sound effects (like an electric keyboard)." But I don´t know how to change the soundcard, this game has no setup/menu like most games :/ Really nice game by the way. Easy enough to keep me going and very entertaining Last edited by Lazy Lion; 03-10-2010 at 12:59 AM. |
