...err... first off, the game is preinstalled, so you don't need to install it. Secondly, when mounting it's much better to mount as C not D (some of the older games have reserved letters, like only A or B can be floppy disks and such), so mount

mount C d:\danny\spel
C:

Oh and I also think the game is pre-installed (not sure, wasn't my archive), so you don't need to install it again (just maybe rename the folder into BLUE instead of BLUE FORCE).
[/b]
still wont work :wallbash:

I get the same message as last time "no such directory or file". blue force insists that it wants an install and it takes me to an install screen after ive used the join blue.rlb blue and 2install commands, after that i see an install screen asking if i want to install blueforce and where i want it installed but no matter what i type in the directory does not exist

OK, tried the archive on Abandonia...

You need to install it and the folder must have a different name (like BFORCE) or something. Then it should work.

Or you can wait for an hour or so and download the game again (I'll change the zip file with a pre-installed one that should work).

Also you might wanna remember that you need to SPEED UP DOSBox to play (to some 9000 cycles), but the game is playable in WinXP as well (just that there's no sound).

Not as good as Police Quest , I agree. But boring? No way! I have owned this game for many years and still dig it out occasionally.

No idea why some people are having problems playing it...all i did was click on 'blue.exe', and it started immediately...the sound works fine too (short of a few crackles, but no glitching per se.)

My OS is the standard xpsp2 home edition.

There's a cleaning kit in the PD, it's on the shelf next to
the briefing room.
and you don't even dare to google for walkthrough, cause you want to play fair don't you =P

Sorry I haven't been checking this lately... As soon as you get into the police station you should clean the gun (just make sure there's no bullets in it, otherwise you'll blow your brains out). Just drag the gun over to the desk with a black and blue trey on it (if I remember correctly it's near the door to the classroom.
Also don't forget to pick up everything while at the station (like rap sheets, news buletins...). Enjoy the game!
